To prevent power loss from the conversion of kinetic energy into electrical energy, and then back into kinetic energy we may use a mechanical regenerative braking system. This system would store the energy in springs instead of generating electricity to store in the battery.

Mounting new parts on our bicycle is one of out major challenges. Finding a way to mount parts that will fit almost any bicycle is not easy. Instead of trying to clamp mounting brackets around the bicycle frame, we had the idea to run a nut and bolt through the frame. This would help fit all frames, and provide a very sturdy mount.
